Terms for the free MyFileHosted service.
Service
MyFileHosted is free. There is no entitlement to registration, particular features, permanent storage or uninterrupted availability.
Retention
Anonymous uploads are generally retained for 30 days. Security, legal, capacity or technical reasons may require earlier restriction or deletion.
Content rights
Uploaders keep their rights and grant only the limited rights technically needed to store, inspect, deliver, preview and delete the file.
Responsibility
Uploaders need all required rights and must follow the upload rules. We may restrict files or accounts and prevent repeated abuse.
Liability
Liability is limited only where lawful; mandatory liability, intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health are not improperly excluded.
Language
The German version prevails. Translations aid understanding. Contact channels are in the legal notice and report form.
